Record streak in the Euroleague after beating FC Bayern Munich (82-73)
Valencia Basket managed to surpass its record of
wins in a row in the Euroleague beating FC Bayern Munich at La Fonteta by 82-73
and chaining its fifth consecutive victory in the top continental competition.
The German team managed to impose their rhythm in a first half with low accuracy
rates in which three triples in the final stretch allowed Valencia Basket to go
ahead by a minimum at halftime. In the third quarter the accuracy on both sides
improved and Radebaugh (14) and Jones (11 points) kept the team alive at its
worst moment in the third act and Evans (who in his debut in the Euroleague
went to 9 points and 4 assists) and Prepelic broke the game with a 14-2 run at
the start of the last one. The taronja team endured the physical bar of the
Germans in the final stretch to ensure victory
